Day 6: Thursday, November 1

• Chalk n’ Rock, Wescoe, 10am – 2pm
• Deck the Halls, 3pm
• Office Judging, 3pm

Chalk N’ Rock:

Chalk N’ Rock will take place on Wescoe Beach, Thursday, November 1st from 10am-2pm with the judging at 2:00pm. Participating groups will be given a pre-assigned square on Wescoe Beach where they will have the day to chalk a design in accordance with this year’s theme, Jayhawk Nation. Each organization is responsible for bringing the necessary amount of appropriate chalk needed for their design. In case of inclement weather Chalk N’ Rock will be moved to Friday, November 2nd.

Deck The Halls:

Residence and Scholarship halls run by the Department of Student Housing will be invited to compete in this event. Halls will have until Thursday, November 1st at 3:00pm to decorate a main common area. Judging will take place at 3:30pm. Hall decorations should be in accordance with this year’s theme: Jayhawk Nation and a $175 maximum may be spent on decorations. Halls need to provide receipts upon judging.
